its come to the time where i need a website, i’ve been doing a web design course at Tameside college. Although we dont start building the websites for another couple of weeks, i’ve jumped ahead and designed this in Dreamweaver. The first page of my website (to date)

I’m doing a beginners web design night course at Tameside College, and yesterday we were given homework to code a a chessboard (only). one of the students challenged me as extra to put all the pieces on the board in the right places…he didn’t think i could do it lol

As some of you might know Netherlands-based company ‘Mars One’ is planning on leading the way in the colonisation of Mars (no joke this is happening). I’m extremely excited about current advances in science and exploration, and this project is so massive but in theory they have a chance. i’d like to help them along any way i can even just by spreading the word, so i’ve created this Image..heres a link to the project

This is Milton he’s a character design for a Pixel Game I’m working on With Richard Lewis and Matthew Richardson. The Game is at the start of development but the name ‘Paranoia’ is being thrown around.
Luke Farley has recently completed his Graphic Design course at the University of Salford, specialising in narrative illustration. Luke’s passion and ambition is to become a full-time illustrator for children’s literature.“I work primarily in inks and linocut which I combined with watercolour. My work incorporates a soft rounded style with strong flat colours and vivid textures whilst working with bold lines. My Interests are in narratives and storytelling; specifically Nordic/English folklore and fairy tales. My creative education began on fine art courses, which continued until my last year at college where I took up graphic illustration. This led me into taking a BA Honours degree in Graphic Design at Salford University, which I recently completed with honours. I’ve greatly been influenced by and enjoy the works of bold graphic illustrators such as the works of Macbess, Jamie Hewlett and John Tenniel as well as the written work of the Grimm brothers and Lewis Carroll.My future in design is rooted in storytelling, as storyboarding and composition are my strengths and what I find most interesting. Being interested in narratives the plan is to move forward into illustrating children’s literature. I’m currently developing my own stories and characters that I’m hoping to eventually get published. The first being an interactive story where the readers can take part as witnesses in the story. The story will be called ‘The Animal Report’ the main character victor; a zoologist investigates unknown animal encounters which get reported through the animal report. The idea is the public will fill out a form and describe their imaginary animal and their encounter with it and I’ll design the animals from there descriptions and credit them in the books.
I look forward to designing everything I can get my hands on really from books to events promotion and advertising illustration, eventually moving towards movie storyboarding. I’ve set up my own studio and I’m working with the ‘We Made It Collective’ for Salford illustration graduates.)”
